| (0001220) Tow (developer) 2010-07-28 13:29 | Not reproducible for me, please attach a test map. One remark though - VCMI behaves here slightly different from OH3. Artifact may be chosen as bonus if player has one or more starting heroes (or one is generated). [OH3 generally disallowed artifact bonus when player had multiple starting heroes, that seemed to be a bug for me.] But that shouldn't cause the described behaviour (error message of not founding hero). | 
| (0001222) Ivan (developer) 2010-07-28 15:03 | I've attached my test map "Building requirements" This is what I've found: Leaving bonus as random sometimes will result in giving you artifact as starting without checking presence of hero (= error message "no heroes") Possibility to select artifact without heroes most possibly was caused by constantly editing map: 1)open scenario selection in VCMI 2)remove starting heroes in map editor So this part is hardly a bug - checking all maps for changes will be too much IMO While I tried to reproduce this found a similar one - you can't select resource as starting bonus on some maps (like Arrogance, Brave New World, my test map) |

With random town resource cannot be selected, since VCMI wouldn't know which resource it is. This is consistent with OH3 behaviour. |
