Summary 0000592: High chance of battle freeze or crash if a spell was cast in the previous battle
Revision 2010-08-01 22:44 by Zamolxis
Steps To Reproduce Take Sir Mullich in the map attached to 0000570 to reproduce, attack the Inferno above and use a spell in battle (I used Lightning Bolt). After battle, attack the Earth Elemental nearby. In the beginning of the battle, attack or just fly with the Phoenix in front of the creature - Either way there's a good chance to get a freeze or a crash. Out of about 15 attempts, 4-5 times I had a freeze (and had to force crashdump), 6-7 times I had a crash and only 3-4 times I could finish the battle.

I was never able to reproduce it (5 attempts) if I didn't cast a spell in the previous battle or if I just cast a non-destructive spell (I tried Slow).

Description See attached 3 sets of screenshots/dumps:

1. Crash sample (dump created by VCMI)

2. Freeze sample (forced dump)

3. Another freeze sample - with the Console message and dump created after I typed "activate 0" in Console as Tow suggested (I had an exchange of PM's with him on the forum about it already, but he couldn't reproduce it)

3. Another freeze sample - with the Console message and dump created after I typed "activate 0" in Console as Tow suggested (I had an exchange of PM's with him on the forum about it already, but he couldn't reproduce it). As seen in the screenshot, I didn't even have to attack to Earth Elemental - I just flew the Phoenix in front of it and the game froze.
