Direct and indirect damage spells fail with this error:

Unknown problem with this spell. No more information available.

(0007487) SXX (administrator) 2018-03-10 12:08	So the real reason behind it is that during spells loading this appears: Unknown effect type: 'core:damage'. Apparently spells loading failing for some reason.
