Actually they regenerate by the beginning of a turn (as of 0.8). But should the animation be played when they are fully healthy? |
|
|
|
No. When they're fully healthy only the drain mana animation should play, and I guess even that shouldn't play if hero is down to 0 spell points (I'm pretty sure that was the H3 behavior, but even if it wasn't, it's a waste of time to watch the animation if nothing actually happens: on the contrary, no animation would be an indicator there's no mana left to drain). |

Actually it's improperly fixed. The regeneration should take place in the beginning of THEIR turn, not the beginning of THE turn (so not between turns, like in 0.8b, but when their turn comes during a round).
Detail: They can only regenerate once per round. So, if their turn comes in the round, the behavior is as such:
- if they have HP missing, they regenerate; but if they use Wait after regenerate, they don't get to heal again when their turn comes a 2nd time during the round
- if they don't have HP missing, but they use Wait, when their turn comes again in that round, if this time they have HP missing, they will regenerate. |

FYI - If you try to reproduce 0000684, you will also get the chance to easily reproduce the new Wraith regeneration behavior (at start of battle turn i/o start of creature turn). |

Now regeneration is handled, but animations are not working properly. It's more general issue, though. |

Seems fixed now (0.93) but indeed with issues regarding animation play. I'm going to close this one as I believe 0001318 should cover the issue with animations not working properly in general. |
