| Summary | 0000540: Game almost always crashes if we R-click on the creature card in the recruit window |
| Description | I believe it actually happens every time we go to the town screen, then the creature recruit window immediately after the game starts, so it may have something to do with starting playing while the game still auto-saves. Screenshot & dump attached. |
| Steps To Reproduce | You can use map attached to 0000515. When the game starts, open immediately the town screen of the Tower (1st town in the list), then the Gremlin dwelling, then R-click on the creature card to see its stats.
So it's reproducible for all in-town dwellings (maybe also map dwellings, I didn't try). But if you want to reproduce the exact steps that led to the crash in the dump/screenshot attached, here's what I did:
- Start map attached to 0000515
- Open Necropolis, build Graveyard
- Exit town, End Turn
- Open Necropolis, build Mausoleum
- Open Mausoleum, R-click on Lich creature card |
| Additional Information | If you check the screenshot, you can notice the following:
- In the moment of the crash, the graphics of the creature stats card are not yet displayed
- But if we move any window above the client (console or crashdump pop-up), the graphics of the creature stats card are revealed in the areas that we hovered upon |
