DescriptionThis occurs on version 0.98b as well
On the Launcher command window it gives the following error-

File <unknown> is not a valid JSON file!
At line 40, position 1 warning: Comma expected!

I haven't seen this error before, so I thought I'd report it. This is on a clean installation of Heroes 3 Complete (GOG Version).
Steps To ReproduceOpening VCMI Launcher and/or downloading & refreshing repositories
Additional InformationAfter all of this, I went back and deleted the vcmi folder in C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\ as to have a completely fresh VCMI install.
After deleting that folder, I opened the VCMI Launcher again and it failed to open file C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\vcmi\config\modSettings.json (Obviously.)
But when closing VCMI and reopening it, it now gives me this following error-

File CONFIG/MODSETTINGS is not a valid JSON file!
At line 1, position 0 error: File is empty

Along with the error from earlier repeated twice like usual and it failing to open file C:\Users\user\Documents\My Games\vcmi\config\modSettings.json

I'll be uploading the VCMI_Launcher_log files. 1 from before I deleted the vcmi folder in Documents and 2 from after.

I may reproduce a similar problem on Linux (ArchLinux, aur/vcmi-git package, git revision: a03419e). I removed all config files. Those are the logs from VCMI_Launcher:
