| Summary | 0001827: Launcher crashes |
| Description | Updated to 0.96 by move of new files in 0.95b (worked fine for me) installation. Tried to load my campaings savings — it's unavailable. Inspected client logs i found records like «Error: Failed to process mysave: Error: too old file format». I tried to start launcher to try to look up for save updater or something related to saves. |

| Additional Information | If i try to start it in cmm, than pop ups error «VCMI_launcher.exe is not an application Win32», after closing it writes to console «Permission denied» (localized version of that messages on screenshot).
Can provide any info to help solve that issue :) |

There is no option to update saves.
Apart from that, launcher crash may be an actual problem. Are you sure you run it with administrator privileges?

There are two possible issues that I heard of:
- missing msvcp110.dll. Warmonger, can you add these libraries to release package?
- some incompatibility issues specific to Win XP. Have no idea what we can do here.
Oh - and starting from 0.95 VCMI should work without administrative privileges (if not - then this is a bug, should be reported and fixed) |

I already added this file to official package. Not sure if there are some unofficial mirrors, though. |
