More details? Screenshot?
For me all heroes are visible on minimap - starting heroes, newly recruited, placed on map.
Note: there was a bug with where objects were not marked correctly. Not sure if I fixed it before or after 0.94b but it was not heroes-specific. Capture a mine and check if it will be correctly recolored to player. If no - then this is the same bug. Which is already fixed.

And for me it still works... Any ideas on how to trigger this bug?
Do you have this bug immediately after starting a map? Or only after certain events? Have you loaded the game or not?
Can you type this command into console (black window with log):
extract Data/heroes.txt
And upload extracted file here (you'll find it in Extracted/Data/Heroes.txt) |

It happens for both loaded games and new ones immediately after starting every map.

I think I know when this weird bug happens. Probably always in windowed mode in any resolution. But when you try to switch VCMI to fullscreen mode, the dot that is representing hero magically appears (of course after moving that hero). On the screenshot I previously uploaded you can see that VCMI is in windowed mode, that's why there is no dot. |

For me dots are present on minimap even after switching to/from fullscreen mode and moving hero... Still no idea what's wrong here... |

Just wanted to say that with SDL 2, this bug seems to be not reproducible on my side. |
