0000142: After loading a saved game, we have the same "pain" sound in battles after the casting of any spell (0.73c#17)
0.73c#17 - After loading a saved game, we have the same "pain" sound in battles after the casting of any (damage?) spell. The sound is heard in the moment we cast the spell, before the actual spell animation or the animation of the creature hit by the spell (which is the moment when it should make a sound, though different - customized for every creature).

Ubuntux writes it's probably fixed in revision 1297. I didn't try to reproduce it.

I'm assigning it to him then. We can close it once somebody confirms it's indeed fixed (if not earlier by one of the devs, I'll check once the new release is out).

I've checked it in 0.75. It's not yet fixed. I even tried two non-damage spells: Cure & Resurrection, and there's the same sound. I'll updating the Summary as well to clarify that it applies to (apparently) all spells.

Verified as fixed, though I'm not yet sure which/whose change fixed it. I went back to previous releases. We still had it in 0.8, but it was fixed in 0.81. If that helps you figure out whose change fixed it, please update the assignment.
